Please answer the following questions.

As a new member you will be expected to follow the following:

1.  I will attend an orientation visit to the range with my sponsor to review the Club range policies and to demonstrate my safe handling of firearms prior to visiting the range by myself.  I will deliver a properly executed Liability Waiver to a club official before entering the range.

2.  I will make every effort to attend all Club Quarterly meetings and participate in scheduled Club work days at the range.

3.  I will not give access to the range to any non-member.

4.  I will  clean as I go and not leave trash or debris that could cause the range to appear in a non-professional state.

5.  Upon any request from any Club Member that shows his/her membership card, I will respond by showing my membership card.

6.  As part of my membership to the club, I agree to contribute my fair share of work to maintain or improve the range, or be willing to pay a small fee in case that I cannot be present for work days.

7.  All members must exercise strict safety practices while on the range to include eye and ear protection for yourself, your family and your guests.

8.  ALL FIREARMS must remain unloaded and magazines removed until you are on the firing line.

9.  Gate codes and keys are only provided to members in good standing.  If a member gives gate codes or keys to non-members, their membership will be revoked immediately.

10.  I will use the honor system as a member in good standing to pay for my guests who accompany me to the range.  I will submit guests fees along with my quarterly dues or in person at the next membership meeting.  If I violate the honor system, my membership may be revoked.

11.  Members and guests agree to hold harmless the North Carolina Shooting Club and all Club Executive members, of any liability involving accident or injury, whether physical or personal property, to any member or guest while at the North Carolina Shooting Club.  You acknowledge that shooting at said range entails known and unknown risks and you take this upon yourself.  You acknowledge that risks cannot be eliminated and the member will bear the costs of all risks to the Club.

By initialing below you indicate that you understand and agree to all the above statements.

For your application to be considered, the agreement must be initialed above and a current background check (within the previous six months) be provided at the expense of the applicant and included with this application.  In lieu of a background check, the applicant may show proof of a current Concealed Carry Permit or provide a copy of a Permit to Purchase/Receive a Handgun certified within the last six months by the sheriff of their county of residence.

By submitting this application, I HEREBY DECLARE to the best of my knowledge that the information provided is true and accurate and agree to abide by the decision of the North Carolina Shooting Club to accept or reject my application for membership.
